MUW watch design: The ultimate accessory

The name is MUW. The designers are Kasper and Rikke Salto. Created by a man and a woman – for men and women. The MUW range takes it name from the first letters of Man, Unisize and Woman – the very essence of the designer duo’s watch design. With the MUW range, flexibility reaches a new level. A truly versatile accessory, the watch range can be worn around the wrist or the neck, or as a pocket watch.

A clockwork orange

When Steen Georg Christensen and Erling Andersen designed the Picto watch 30 years ago, their aim was to create a picture of time. And so it is not the watch hands that indicate the passing of time, but rather the dial that rotates on the Picto watch, creating the illusion that the earth is moving and time is passing…

However, the two designers also captured something else in time: a stylish combination of form and function that endures to this very day, making Picto a retro-cool design statement for both women and men. Now the watch is released in a colourful new version – Pict’Orange.  The intense orange watch strap fits perfectly with today’s colour blocking trend in fashion, which can’t get enough colour.

Pict’Orange is available in three sizes – 30, 40 and 50 mm – with a silicone strap and IP black case.

Innovative new way to use Arne Jacobsen’s classic watch
